PTA + VOLUNTEERS = SUCCESS
The purpose of our volunteer program is to provide support within Whitt so that the individual needs of our students are better met. We have many opportunities to volunteer; assisting teachers, working in the library, working within a specific program, and through the PTA. There are many volunteer opportunities throughout the year and we welcome volunteers to participate on a regular basis, a short period of time, or only for special events.

Join a Committee
We are in the process of forming committees. A list of our committees can be found at the About Us page. We need people of all kinds with different skills and talents to compliment our committees and make our PTA a success! You may contact Tammy Alexander at whittvolunteers@gmail.com to join a committee or gain more information. There will also be sign-ups at our first General PTA Meeting on September 14th.
Fill Out Your Background Check
A background check for must be filled out by all volunteers at Whitt. This includes PTA volunteers, teacher volunteers, lunch volunteers, WatchDOGS, library volunteers, any adult that intends on being in the school building at some point during the year as a volunteer. The original form is required and may be dropped off in the Whitt office.
